Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory last year, nearly 1 million fans flooded downtown for an unforgettable victory parade and rally. As the Chiefs clinch their second consecutive title, this year’s celebration, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14, promises to be even grander, especially if superstar Taylor Swift makes an appearance.

For the second year running, devoted Chiefs fans are set to converge on downtown Kansas City to revel in their team’s Super Bowl triumph and express admiration for their favorite players. Notably, this year’s celebration falls on the unique combination of Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday.

Longtime Kansas City fans who have experienced previous championship celebrations downtown understand the importance of meticulous planning for this momentous occasion. Here’s what we know about the event so far, with updates to follow:

Celebration Schedule: The parade is set to kick off at 11 a.m., with a victory rally scheduled at Union Station immediately following the parade, around 12:45 p.m. As in previous years, fans can enjoy the rally from the National World War I Museum and Memorial lawn.

Parade Route: The route mirrors that of the previous year, with the parade commencing at 6th Street in the River Market. From there, it will head south on Grand Boulevard, passing through downtown, Power & Light, and the Crossroads. Notably, the parade will not traverse City Market this year. After turning onto Pershing Road, the procession will culminate in front of Union Station.

As Kansas City anticipates another unforgettable celebration, fans can rest assured that this year’s victory parade and rally will be a fitting tribute to the team’s remarkable achievements.
